April and Audrey | Mother and Daughter Shoot
A family shoot is always a fun experience for me, but it is even much more fun when you get to experience the love between a mother and a daughter. As a woman who calls her mom her best friend, it was such a fun day to see this mother and daughter having a good time together and enjoying each other.
We headed out to Mountain Cove Farms in Chickamauga to spend the day on the farm. The farm was kind enough to let us shoot pictures in exchange for me taking some pictures of their property. It was also exceptionally warm and sunny for the day, given that it was October.
The views were gorgeous with the mountains and farmland. We started off taking pictures along a wooden fence and then we moved up a rock drive way and took some pictures in the grass. Both mom and daughter had a good time giggling and looking at the little flowers that her daughter had picked. On the way back down, the daughter wanted to look at the horses that were outside in a large fenced area. Unfortunately, not until we started to walk away did one of the horses walk up to the both of them. Then a few minutes later, another horse started to walk over to see the two girls as well. They both got to pet the horses, and I was able to get some good pictures of them with one of the horses.
We were able to shoot some cute pictures towards the end of the session, along a steel fence with one of the barns in the background. It was such a fun day for them to just be silly and goofy as mother and daughter. It was a fun day for me too, but it was also a privilege to be able to take pictures of such a wonderful mother and daughter.
